The coolest helmet EVER

Baseball season has started once again. Like I have said before, I love watching my kids play. I had to order Berek a bigger batting helmet this year because his old one doesn't fit. While I was waiting for it to get here I started looking into airbrushing. I wanted to surprise him with the coolest helmet ever. I think I did that. After checking around all over the Tri-cities, and finding that it would cost $200+, I almost gave up. I talked to my sister about the idea. She just happened to have a friend who airbrushed. YEAH!. I quickly sent the helmet to her and he started it right away. He is good. Here are some of the pictures. He's almost finished with it. I can't imagine what else needs to be done, it looks awesome already. I can't wait to get it.

Happy St. Patty's

Bailey sampled the green food coloring.

Finished product---where's the ham?!

Only once a year do I get the chance to feed my family odd looking green food. The kids love it and Jared is kind of grossed out by it. Our menu consisted of green pancakes, green eggs, and green smoothies. In the past we have had green biscuits with sausage gravy, which I have to say, looked quite disgusting and rotten. So this year we took the fun, still edible way.
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

WICKED

Last Friday we took the train to Portland with Jared's office. We all met up at the Amtrak in Pasco at 5:30 am. Wow was that hard. For the next 4 1/2 hours we played games. It was so fun plus this was my first time on a train. Once we hit Portland we rented some BIG vans, checked into our hotel, and did a little shopping.
That night everyone got dressed up. It was fun to see everyone in their beautiful dresses. I don't get may chances to dress up like that, I'm a big shirt and skirt girl so it was fun. We ate at Macaroni Grill and went to see WICKED, the highlight of our trip. I LOVED IT. I have never been to a show like this before. My idea of a show was at the movie theatre. It was so entertaining, so funny, so......WOW! I now have a love for the wicked witch. She rocks! I am definitely a changed woman, Nicole and Meg, you should be proud. There is hope for me. If you ever get a chance to see this.....you must.
The next morning we headed for the malls and the outlets. Jared and I ate lunch at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY mmmmmmm. And then back it was to the train and more gaming. What a trip. It was fun but I have to say, I was happy to get home to the kids. 2 days is a perfect little trip. Jared getting excited about the FULL day of shopping :)

DIGGITY DOG

A few mornings ago, as I am getting things together, life in order, Bailey decided to get the COSTCO size ranch dressing out of the fridge and lather my newly shampooed carpets with them. I figured it was about 3 cups. I cleaned it up as quick as I could and continued shampooing it throughout the day. (The smell of ranch likes to linger in that room now) Then I finished getting ready so I could go to an appointment I had. Bailey decided to wear her cute, new dress we bought her for summer (with a cardigan over it).

My friend Nicole, THANK YOU NICOLE, offered to watch Bailey for a few hours while I went so I dropped her off. She was fine, a little whiney, which was very strange for the fact she loves going to Nicole's house and loves seeing and playing with her buddies there. About an hour and a half later I arrived back to find Bailey looking a bit different. She was no longer in her cute little dress, but in some smackin' new diggs. Yes, my Bailey was converted to a rapper while I was gone, and a cute one at that. Nicole then filled me in on the story. Bailey fell asleep and not too for not long. Her stomach did not like what she had done to it earlier. She apparently drank a few cups of the ranch while she was lathering my carpets. Nicole figured that amount by the volume all over her, her hair, and the twins blanket. Nicole bathed her and got her some new diggs. I guess I need to explain, Nicole has 3 boys. I have to say it is pretty darn cute. She became my DIGGITY DOG the rest of the day and wore it well. Thank you again Nicole, you clean vomit up well .
