End of March....so soon?!

I definitely have been bad about keeping the updates on our family. We are finally going to move in a few days (hopefully) into our final house (hopefully). We are really excited. Now we just need some visitors...family...friends....we love them all. Baseball has started for Berek. he started out playing both city and school ball. From 2:30 - 7:00 at night he was at practice. After about 3 weeks he decided he would like a little bit of life so he gave up school ball. I was glad though. It was a bit much if you ask me. He is the catcher and first base man this year,
This week was spring break. There will soon be pictures and stories to come soon. Also update pictures from valentines and St. Patty's day.
This picture is for Andra. Bailey is sticking her tongue
out to Andra because she is wearing the coat Andra
wore when she was little. HA HA HA
Like father like daughter. There are more ways than one
that Jared and Bailey are alike. They both love to play
games on the cell phones. I love this picture....first thing in
the morning.

Two of Bailey's friends. They come over a couple times a month
to play. She gets so excited to have "HER" friends come over.

Our Little Gracie

Our 3 year old niece was diagnosed cancer. After running many tests on her to see where and if it had spread, they gave her the diagnosed it at a stage III high risk neuroblastoma. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will be for the next few months. After they will hopefully be able to surgically remove the tumor. We were all shocked and heart broken that this sweet little girl had to go through all of this, along with her parents and 3 siblings. I can't imagine how it would feel, just that it breaks our hearts thinking of it. We would appreciate any prayers you would offer on their behalf. The more the better!! If you would like to know more about Gracie, there is a blog set up for her. There you can keep up on her progress and donate to the family. They all have a long road ahead of them, both emotionally, physically, and financially. THANKS!!!

New Years Eve & New Years Day

New Years Eve we took our first ski/snowboard trip of the year to White Pass. All of us snowboard except for the little girls. Tayler learned to ski 2 years ago and Bailey has either had to stay at home with the babysitter or in the child care wherever we go. This year Bailey decided she wanted to ski. We were all so excited. The first trip our whole family was able to be on the hill together. She was AWESOME!!! The girl is a natural.....gets it from her dad. She loved every bit of it.
On our way home the roads were horrible, which added another hour and a half to our trip. We spent our time counting the slide offs. We finally reached home around 7:00. Our New Years celebrations consist of lots and lots of junk food, which we had none of. Jared and I ran to Wal-Mart, me still in just my long john, to pick up some munchies. I am lucky we are not featured on "The people of Wal-mart".
That night we celebrated with watching the classic New Years celebrations on the tv, playing name that tune, and just being crazy. It was fun....just us.

Now Jan 1st was a different story. I'm not sure if I call it "fun"yet. At 11:00 we met at the Columbia River in Richland in the snow, to jump in. WHY?!?! I don't know, Peer Pressure I guess. There is no chickening out with this group. Nicole, Vern, and the boys even came for moral support (and to see what they were in for next year). It was freezing, toes were numb, and goosebumps covered our bodies. Yet we will be there again next year.
Afterwards a group of us went to Country Gentlemen for Cinnamon rolls and breakfast. YUM! The afternoon we partook of warm showers, movies, and chillin on the bed. WELCOME 2010.
