Superbowl Sunday

Superbowl Sunday at our house wasn't too exciting and crazy. We did watch the whole game and enjoyed it in our pj's. There wasn't a ton of food but we did make brownies with p-nut butter and chocolate frosting. We had our own little relaxed version of the Superbowl you could say. The commercials were great. My favorites were the Diet Pepsi for men and the two babies (I think it was an investment commercial). We were hoping for the Cardinals. They're not the fav team in our house.....that award would go to the COLTS, but we like to stick by the under dogs, if that is what you would call them. The night ended with a little bit of the OFFICE and Jared very upset. He had recorded the OFFICE on the DVR and because the game went a little past the programing/recording time, it cut off the last 15 min. That was definitely not OK.
Bailey loved getting her camera time.

Tayler isn't too crazy about watching 4 hours of football,
So she decided to play a game on the computer.

Makenna had her own idea of fun too. She watched
some girly show on the Disney channel.

Jared and Berek did plenty of wrestling.

And the most entertainment was given by
Bailey and Jared, sticking their tongues out
at each other.

Good-Bye 2008 **** HELLO 2009

CHRISTMAS

Christmas came so fast this year. Usually we have all our goodies made and handed out a week before Christmas. This year was a big ooops. We didn't even get the chance to make anything let alone hand anything out. Andra flew in on Dec 16. Her flight was absolutely horrible, going from being cancelled to flying in at 11:00 pm instead of 1:00 pm. We were just happy she made it. The next day we went from piano recital/eating lunch at Makenna's school to a program with the activity day girls. All week we also had a 2 hour delay because of all the snow we got. The week was crazy but still great. Andra's husband was suppose to fly in on Dec 20 but got stranded half way through his flight in Denver and didn't get here till Dec 22. We picked him up at the airport on our way out of town to Schweitzer. We got there on Monday evening and stayed till Friday. It was a great week filled with snowboarding, Santa, hot chocolate, and PRESENTS!!!! I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say we had a great Christmas week.

New Years
New years my brother, his wife, and 3 kids came. We ate tons of yummies, played Wii, dominoes, watched tv, lit fireworks, pulled popper confetti and all around partied it up. It was great fun. We had a total of 6 adults and 9 kids ages: 11, 9, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 5 mo. Burger King saw us a few times this week and I think we scared everyone else off. Anyways, New Years morning a friend of ours told us about a group of people that jumped into the Columbia River. At 12:00 we met up with this group and Jared, Berek, and Ben took the plunge. It was great to watch. The day was a bit cold so I'm sure their bodies were frozen for quite a while. We ended that adventure with going to Country Gentlemen for cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa.
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE
